Inspiration for The Tot and the Toe
Max was my inspiration. My mom, Max and I were out on an adventure and I looked at his little bare toes. I laughed to my mom that his big toes looked like Tater Tots, and then said “I should write a book! You should illustrate it!” We went on with our day and three years later I thought to myself, “Why have I not done anything about that?” So, do something I did! I sat down and wrote that story in 20 minutes.
